Marine Engineering Assistant (MEA)
The Marine Engineering Assistant is a six (6) month professional programme that prepares one for work on board a vessel as a marine engineer assistant. Graduates of the course are able to work in the engineering department of shipping vessels as machinists, oilers and wipers. Successful participants of the programme are required to take the following courses:

WASC/SSCE/GCE/NABTEB ‘O’ Level or equivalent with credit pass in any four (4) of the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Agricultural Science and Geography
