The FCFMT Medical Centre
The College Medical Facility caters to the primary and immediate health needs of the College community and its surrounding environment. The medical centre aims to be the foremost health facility in the maritime sector.
In 2023, the facility was upgraded from an eight-hour clinic to a Medical Centre, accredited by the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) as a participating Primary Health Care Provider.
The Medical Centre now operates 24 hours daily, Monday to Friday, delivering comprehensive healthcare under the supervision of a team of qualified medical professionals. Services are extended to:
- Registered students
- College staff and their families
- Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) clients
- Seafarers



Services at the Medical Centre
- Pre-admission medical evaluation of Students and pre-employment screening of members of Staff.
- Diagnosis, treatment, and management of medical conditions of the College Community
- Appropriate referral of patients to secondary/tertiary medical centres as needed.
- Laboratory testing for primary health care cases
- Medical Counselling of Patients
- Organising regular or periodic health awareness campaigns for the College Community
- Environmental/Sanitation and Preventive Medicine Programme
