Dr. Babatunde Olaseni Musa

Babatunde Olaseni Musa possesses a PhD in Bioeconomics of Fisheries and Aquaculture from the Universidad Marista de Merida, Mexico, prior to which he had obtained a MSc in Fisheries Management (University of Ibadan) 1997, and a BSc Hons in Microbiology (Ogun State University) 1991. He joined the service of FCFMT in 1999 and is currently a Principal Lecturer. He teaches Research Methods, Fish Diseases, Fisheries Resources Management, Fish Farm Management, Sustainable Fisheries Livelihoods Approach and Introductory Microbiology. His research interests include fish nutrition, aquaculture management, fish health, sustainable fisheries and bioeconomics evaluation and modelling. He is a Fellow of the Fisheries Society of Nigeria, and serves as the Chairman of the Lagos State Chapter of the Society. He is also a member of World Aquaculture Society, and International Institute of Fisheries Economics and Trade.
