Oni Babatope Gabriel – Head of Department
Mr. Babatope Gabriel Oni attended the Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology (FCFMT) and obtained a National Diploma (ND) in Nautical Science in 1998, he then attended the Maritime Academy of Nigeria, Oron (2001-2003) where he obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Maritime Transport and Business Management and later a Post Graduate Diploma in Shipping Technology. He furthered his education with a B.Sc in Business Administration from South Western University Nigeria, and an M.Sc in Transport from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-iwoye in 2010. In 2013 he obtained another Masters degree in Transport and Logistics from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
He began his career as an academic staff at the Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology in 2008. He has since served in various capacities including as course coordinator and Project coordinator at the Nautical Science Department. He has also served on various committees at the College such as the examination committee, disciplinary committee and the College matriculation committee.
He is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) and a registered Freight Forwarder.
